My name is Aaron, and I am here to pursue a deeper understanding of baking and all things related.
This whole pursuit started in Southern France with a Kouign-Amann. It was the most delightful thing I had ever put in my mouth. Buttery, subtle, balanced, a textural mind blower. I thought to myself “How is this possible?” I had enjoyed desserts up to this point, but this was a new level.
That curiosity spread to the bread we were eating, the eclairs, the cakes and so on. As it stands, that question is driving me to bake any and everything, and this is place where I will attempt to document my baking journey and the questions that come of it. With any luck, and help from the internet, I might find some answers.
